Hey everyone! I just got my first paid content writing client after finishing Module 3 of the beginner course and I wanted to share what actually worked for me.
I did NOT use any freelance platform like Upwork. Instead I reached out directly to 12 small businesses in my city whose websites I found had thin, badly written "About Us" pages. I rewrote one of them for free and sent it to them as a cold email sample.
3 of the 12 replied. One offered ₹3,000 for a full website rewrite. That was 2 weeks ago — I've now done 3 projects for them. The key learning from Sneha's Module 3 really was this: your first client doesn't come from platforms, they come from showing up with specific, personalised value.
